Now that we have had  6 months of experience following many of these guidelines and dealing with COVID, practitioners from around the country, we will discuss the measures they have adopted to practice safely in the office and operating room. Topics will include changes the office experience, virtual visits, exam room safety precautions, OR safety precautions, COVID testing, and new office protocols. We will also discuss the drawbacks and well as the benefits we have experienced with instituting many of these changes.

Open to view video. The COVID pandemic caused us all to rethink how to protect our staff, patients and ourselves from a virulent and somewhat unpredictable virus. During the 6+ weeks of lockdown, governmental agencies and medical societies produced suggested guidelines for safe reopening of practices. Now that we have had 6 months of experience following many of these guidelines and dealing with COVID, practitioners from around the country will discuss the measures they have adopted to practice safely in the office and operating room.
